Three injured in accident following reported kidnapping

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A man was hospitalized Tuesday morning after a crash on Kellogg following a reported kidnapping.

At approximately 4 a.m., a 911 caller reported a kidnapping at Harry and Clifton and began following the suspicious car to Kellogg. Police say when the driver of that car noticed he was being followed, he tried to accelerate but instead rolled over on the Kellogg to Washington off-ramp.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and two passengers suffered minor injuries. Police have not released information about the reported kidnapping and say they plan to question people who were in the overturned car.
