A minor died in a scooter and jeep accident

BALTIMORE — A young person is dead and another injured in a scooter and Jeep crash.

Baltimore police say two juveniles were riding scooters along McCulloh Street in West Baltimore on Wednesday around 9 p.m. when they collided with a Jeep.

They were both taken to hospital. One of the minors was confirmed dead, the other is expected to be healthy.

Police say the driver of the Jeep fled and the injured passenger remained at the scene.
