Harris delivers his “closing speech” at the Ellipse

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – With less than a week until Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have a message for their supporters: This election will be challenging. On Tuesday night, Harris chose to deliver the message from the Ellipse in Washington

Both candidates entered the final phase of their campaigns, but while former President Donald Trump was on the battlefield, Vice President Kamala Harris delivered her “closing speech” in the nation’s capital.

“If you give me the chance to fight on your behalf, nothing in the world will stand in my way,” Harris said.

Against the backdrop of the White House, she reminded Americans what her opponent had done in the same place many years earlier.

“He was the one who stood in this same place almost four years ago and sent an armed mob to the United States Capitol to overturn the will of the people in a free and fair election,” Harris said.

The former president took the stage in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to warn voters about what he believes Americans will gain from President Harris.

“This election is a choice between whether we will have four more years of gross incompetence and failure, the worst administration in the history of our country,” Trump said.

On Wednesday, Trump will travel to North Carolina and then travel to Wisconsin. After visiting North Carolina, Harris heads to Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
