Police are investigating a “situation” involving a teacher at Collierville Middle School

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. (WMC) – The Collierville Police Department is investigating a “potential situation” that involved a teacher at Collierville Middle School.

The Collierville School District is cooperating with police and conducting its own separate investigation.

CPD and the Collierville School District did not verify any allegations, but said officers arrived at the school Wednesday morning to speak with the teacher, whose identity has not been confirmed.

According to Collierville Schools, no one has been charged, but the teacher has been suspended pending the results of both investigations, per school board policy.
