YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the man found shot to death in a vehicle parked on Norwood Avenue on the North Side on Oct. 17 as George Grays, 62.

According to a news release from Youngstown Police, officers removed Grays from the vehicle and performed life-saving measures, but he died. He was shot multiple times and police consider his death a homicide.

An autopsy will be performed and the incident is being investigated by the coroner’s office and Youngstown police, according to a news release from the coroner’s office.
