The 17-year-old denies hitting his mother’s head

A Douglas teenager will appear in court after being accused of head-butting his mother.

Kyle James Reeder, of Peveril Road, denied assaulting her during his hearing at Douglas Courthouse.

The 17-year-old also pleaded not guilty to criminal damage to property – after allegedly smashing a Samsung TV – and possession of cannabis worth £52.

The offenses are believed to have taken place at their home address in the early morning hours of November 13.

A pretrial review will be held on December 19; no bail application was made and he remained in pre-trial detention until that date.
