Detectives are searching for a driver after a crash at Miami International Airport

MIAMI – Detectives were searching for a driver involved in a Thanksgiving morning traffic accident outside Miami International Airport.

Fire department paramedics found an injured man after a driver hit him shortly before 3:55 a.m. at 2100 NW 42 Ave. and took him to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Traffic homicide detectives were working on the case, according to Detective Andre D. Martin, spokeswoman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, who did not provide a description of the car involved.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this or any other cases to call the Miami-Dade County Crime Branch at 305-471-8477.
