Limestone County man charged with sexual assault of a child

This week, a Limestone County man was arrested on child sexual abuse charges after allegedly raping a girl.

Ronald David Baldwin, 57, of Toney, was arrested Tuesday after being charged in September by the Limestone County District Clerk.

Court documents show he was charged with first-degree sodomy and sexual abuse, both felonies. Court documents show his victim was under 12 years old.

Baldwin remains in jail awaiting a November 29 detention hearing.
