A man has been arrested, accused of fatally stabbing his sister and niece in West Houston

WEST HOUSTON – A man has been arrested and charged with fatally stabbing a woman and her child.

Houston Police Department they say the suspect, 29-year-old Kendrick Rayvon Fisher, is charged with capital murder. According to investigators, Fisher is the victims’ brother and uncle.

WHAT HAPPENED

PREVIOUS SCOPE: Brother held sister, niece found dead in west Houston apartment

Investigators say officers were stopped early Friday morning by a family member who told police the woman and her daughter were being held hostage at an apartment building in the 12000 block of Richmond Avenue and Westminster Plaza Drive in Westchase. A family member told officers Fisher was also in the apartment.

When police arrived at the apartment, investigators say they found Fisher asleep on the couch and the woman and child dead inside. According to police, a 28-year-old woman and a 2-year-old child suffered multiple stab wounds.

Officers noticed there was blood at the scene and on Fisher’s clothing. Fisher was detained and questioned by homicide detectives, who later arrested and charged him capital murder.

Fisher is currently in custody Harris County Jailheld on a $200,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, December 3.
