Weather: Snowfall and temperatures close to winter are possible in Metro Detroit this weekend

After snowfall on Black Friday caused snow to accumulate across the region at the end of the week, the winter weather forecast will include the start of the weekend.

As the northwest flow continues this morning, the forecast will include clouds in view of the start of the weekend, as well as a chance for continued snow showers. High temperatures will remain in the upper 20s, but after factoring in gusty winds, wind chills will be in the teens to low 20s most of the day. Any snow accumulation due to snowfall should remain at one inch or less throughout the day.

The chance for a few snow showers will continue through the weekend on Sunday, with mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures won’t get much higher than that and will stay in the 30s looking ahead to the end of the weekend on Sunday.
