Two people dead after crash on Temple Dodgen Loop

TEMPLE, Texas (LIS 44) – Two people died in an early morning crash in Temple.

Officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of SW HK Dodgen Loop around 1:02 a.m. Saturday. When officers arrived, they discovered the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, struck a cement barricade and caught fire.

Justice of the Peace Cliff Coleman pronounced two people dead. NO
other injuries were reported.

The Temple Police Department’s Traffic Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
