23-year-old dies 2 days after shooting in Montgomery

A 23-year-old man has died two days after he was seriously injured in a shooting in Montgomery.

On Saturday, authorities identified the victim as Nickqurious Hooks. He lived in Montgomery.

Police and fire departments were dispatched at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday on a report of someone shot in the 3400 block of Harris Street, Maj. Saba Coleman said.

Hook was found at the scene and taken to hospital. Coleman said he was pronounced dead on Friday.

Details about the shooting have not been released.
