According to Rolling StoneLast week, Bongolan filed a 17-page lawsuit in Los Angeles. The lawsuit alleges sexual battery, infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment and more. Fashion designer demands $10 million for emotional distress.

As well as his experience with Bad Boy founder Bongolan claims to have witnessed the violence Cassie suffered during her relationship with Combs. In September 2016, the fashion designer experienced firsthand the abuse Combs was allegedly capable of. She claims she was hanging from the balcony of Ventura’s apartment. Diddy and his legal team deny Bongolan’s claims. However, her lawyer, James R. Nikraftar, claims that Combs tried to take her life.

“The sole purpose of hanging someone over a balcony is to actually kill that person or to intentionally terrorize them and deprive them of any concept of control over their own bodily autonomy and safety,” Nikraftar said in the lawsuit. “SM. Bongolan refuses to let this fear control the rest of her life and brings this complaint to demand that Mr. Combs take responsibility for the trauma he intentionally and maliciously inflicted.”

Despite the serious claims, Combs’ legal team suggests that Bongolan is only filing the lawsuit for his sake.

“Anyone has the right to bring a lawsuit, regardless of what evidence they may or may not have,” his legal team said in a statement provided to Rolling Stone. “Since last year, Ms. Bongolan has expressed her intention to sue Mr. Combs and has sought legal representation to pursue her claims. “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these serious allegations and remains confident that they will ultimately be proven to be without merit.”

In the lawsuit, Bongolan stated that she met Ventura, who was dating Combs, in 2014. Thanks to her friendship with Ventura, she started working with Combs. She says she has worked with the rapper on several projects, including designing Bad Boy jackets, outfits for the Bad Boy Reunion tour, music videos and even a fashion line with Cassie.

While working with Combs and continuing her friendship with Ventura, Bongolan claims she witnessed “troubling signs of an abusive relationship” between the pair. He claims Combs repeatedly called Ventura if she didn’t answer him, showed up at her apartment unannounced and asked if people were trying to “fuck his woman.” What was most disturbing was that Bongolan saw Ventura with bruises and black eyes. She also witnessed a fight between the two, during which Diddy threw a knife at Cassie, causing her to throw one of them away.

Soon Bongolanka found herself in the path of Combs’ fury. The report alleges that he cornered her during a photo shoot and threatened her.

“I’m the f***ing devil,” Combs allegedly told Bongolan. “You have no idea what I could do to you.” I could kill you.

According to the lawsuit, on September 26, 2016, these threats almost became a reality. Bongolan and her girlfriend were spending the night at Ventura’s apartment when Combs started banging on the door. Bongolan’s girlfriend locked herself in the bathroom for safety while the father of seven bombed the apartment. Soon he and the fashion designer found themselves on the 17th floor balcony.

Combs then allegedly groped Bongolan’s breasts before picking her up by her armpits and shouting, “Do you know what the hell you did? Do you know what the hell you did?”

Bongolan says she tried unsuccessfully to return to the ground, hanging in the air until Cassie, who was locked in the bedroom, looked terrified. The lawsuit says she shouted at Combs and reminded him that Bongolan’s girlfriend was there and could become a witness. Diddy then retreated and Bongolan was thrown to the ground from the balcony, knocking over the patio furniture.
