Coquitlam RCMP trying to identify man involved in minor altercation – BC News

Wanted for a brawl suspect

Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest following an altercation.

On Friday, November 29, at approximately 11 a.m., a minor argument occurred between two people near the public restrooms at Gates Park, 2300 Reeve St. in Port Coquitlam.

RCMP did not provide any details about the altercation in a news release.

The person of interest is described as a man of Asian origin, 50 years old, of medium build.

He wore a blue baseball cap, a beige jacket, a blue shirt, blue pants with black socks, and carried a small blue umbrella with a wooden handle.

“We are asking anyone who may recognize this person to contact our investigators at 604-945-1550,” said Sgt. Alexa Hodgins. “We are also asking anyone who may have witnessed this interaction or has additional information to contact Coquitlam RCMP and reference file number 2024-31561.”
