Three victims of the Piedmont Cybertruck crash have been identified

(KRON) – Three young people who died in approx Tesla Cybertruck disaster in Piedmont on Wednesday were identified by the city of Piedmont.

The descendants were identified as Soren Dixon, Jack Nelson and Krysta Tsukahara.

Hundreds of people gathered on Friday evening in Piedmont for, among others: watch honoring the victims.

“I am moved by the way our small community has come together to offer comfort to these families and each other in this time of unimaginable loss,” said Piedmont Mayor Jen Cavenaugh. “The outpouring of support shown at Thursday’s turkey trot and Friday evening’s vigil was overwhelming. “Now we must respect the wishes of the victims’ families to mourn them alone.”

A vigil was held in Piedmont to honor the victims of the Cybertruck crash

A statement released by Dixon’s family said he was known for his “contagious smile” and love for his family and friends.

Nelson’s family described him in a statement as “full of life who made a lasting impact on people with his kindness and joy.”

Tsukahara was a sophomore at Savannah College of Art and Design. In a statement released by her family, she is known for “her kind and sensitive heart.”

The serious accident occurred on Wednesday around 3 a.m. on Hampton Road. The front of the Cybertruck partially wrapped around the tree and the vehicle was completely burned.

One person survived the disaster. He suffered serious burns and underwent surgery. His current condition is unknown.
