Durant died in a motorcycle accident

DURANT, Okla. (KXII) – A Durant man was killed in a motorcycle crash north of the city Monday afternoon.

According to troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Russell Reno, 41, was riding his motorcycle 1,000 feet north of the Durant city limits on State Route 48 when the rear wheel of the motorcycle locked up.

Reno’s motorcycle went off the road and he was thrown from the vehicle.

He was taken to Alliance Health Center in Durant, where he was pronounced dead.
