Joe Rogan Speculates ‘Government Was Involved’ in JFK Assassination After Trump Interview – IJR

Podcaster Joe Rogan, in a brief discussion on his podcast following an interview with former President Donald Trump, speculated that the United States government was involved in Saturday’s assassination of former President John F. Kennedy.

Trump he promised declassify the remaining files during a Friday interview with the top-rated podcaster, reiterating a vow made in May 2023. interview with the Messenger. “I said OK, that’s why you’re not disclosing it, because some of the people who will be involved are still alive, so to me that means the government was involved,” Rogan said.

At the beginning of the post-interview discussion, Rogan stated that he looked forward to the release of the records.

“I don’t want to be on a podcast where there’s a lot of shit that I want to get to,” Rogan said. “I want to know what the hell is in the JFK files.”

During Friday’s interview, Trump named former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as one of the people who advised him against releasing all documents at the time.

“I opened it partially. I met with good people, you know, look at me, good people, people who had good intentions, Mike Pompeo was one of them, he’s a good man. Uh, they called me and said, “Sir, probably not.” Then I opened it, but some people asked me not to open it,” Trump told Rogan during Friday’s interview.

“By the way, there are also the Martin Luther King files that they would like to see, I don’t know if you know, but they’re there, but JFK in particular,” Trump continued. “So they call me, a lot of good people call me, people who I, you know you find reasonable people, and they asked me not to do it, so I said, well, we’ll shut it down for another time. But if I win, I will open it.”

Trump declassified in 2017, over 2,800 documents related to the attack of November 22, 1963, President Joe Biden released additional documents in 2021 and 2022, but critics accused Biden of lacking full transparency.

Trump explained that one of the reasons he was asked not to fully open the files was the impact it could have on people who are still alive.

– Living people who previously worked for the government? Rogan asked.

“For the government and the living people who were involved in some way,” Trump replied.

“Why didn’t you open it the first time?” – Rogan asked earlier. “What was the hesitation?”

“Addresses, people who are still alive, there are people who are affected, um, and there may be some national security reason that you know I don’t necessarily need to know about, but some very good, talented people have asked me to he didn’t do it,” Trump explained. “I opened it and then they said, can we do it another day?”

Trump has said he will not hesitate to declassify the documents if he returns to office in the November 5 general election.

“It’s a catharsis, you know, it’s a real catharsis, so I’m going to do it,” Trump told Rogan. “I’ll do it immediately, almost immediately, once I get inside
