1 person dead and 3 injured in multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix

At approximately 3:25 p.m., emergency crews were called to the area of ​​40th and Cholla streets, where the Phoenix Fire Department determined that one person needed to be extricated.

Two men and a child were injured and taken to hospital, with one of the men and the child in a critical condition. The second man’s condition is stable.

A third person died in the crash.

The area will be closed while Phoenix Police conduct an investigation.
