Father and son dead in apparent murder/suicide

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – Tyler police are on the scene of a shooting that left two people dead Monday afternoon.

According to Tyler PD PIO Andy Erbaugh, the incident occurred in the 700 block of Chimney Rock Drive in south Tyler around 1:25 p.m. Upon arrival, police found father and son, Otto Gyallai (88) and Anthony Gyallai (45), both dead. with gunshot wounds at home.

According to Erbaugh’s release, Anthony Gyallai’s gunshot wound was self-inflicted.

Tyler Police detectives and Crimes Against Persons detectives are on scene.
