The East Derwent Highway in Old Beach has been closed following a multi-vehicle collision

The East Derwent Motorway at Old Beach has been closed in both directions following a multi-vehicle collision.

Police say Jetty Road and Baskerville Road are being used as diversions due to the highway closure.

Northbound traffic will be diverted onto Jetty Road, while southbound traffic will be diverted onto Baskerville Road.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
