Timothy Lincoln, 42, allegedly made the call outside Ulta Beauty Saturday morning. During the conversation, he allegedly told the person he was talking to about it “I’m gonna blow this shit up!

A store employee who was outside heard him. There were customers and employees inside evacuated and the police were called. It is not clear from the complaint whether Lincoln ever entered the store.

When police arrived on the scene, Lincoln was arrested. Opelika police searched the area for explosives but found nothing.

Lincoln’s photo is striking; his beard is dyed blue and his face is covered with colorful markings. The marks do not appear to be tattoos, but paint or some type of makeup. It is unclear when Lincoln made these markings, and police had not commented on them at the time of this report.

Ulta Beauty banned Lincoln from all of its stores for life.

He faces a charge of making a terroristic threat in the first degree. Lincoln is currently being held at the Lee County Detention Center on $100,000 bail. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.

This is the second time this year that someone allegedly threatened to blow up a cosmetics and fashion store. However, this incident was a bit more complicated than the alleged threatening phone call.

In June, Williams Rodriguez-Juarez was charged in Boston with armed robbery, threatening to bomb or kidnap, assault and battery on a police officer, strangulation or strangulation, criminal trespassing, resisting arrest and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Boston 25.

Rodriguez-Juarez’s long list of alleged crimes came after he visited a Primark store while drunk and began shouting at staff near the store’s dock. Police said he allegedly shouted sexual comments at employees and threatened to steal merchandise before “blowing up the place.”

When police arrived, Rodriguez-Juarez allegedly struggled with the security guard and demanded that police arrest him. They did not do this and instead tried to arrest him. He allegedly resisted and even bit an officer who tried to stop him.

He was arrested and charged in August.
