A man was seriously injured in a shooting in Baltimore near Liberty Heights Avenue

BALTIMORE, Md. — Police said a 33-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot Saturday evening in a northwest Baltimore neighborhood.

Officers were called to the area of ​​Liberty Heights Avenue and Gwynn Oak Avenue on October 26 at approximately 7:27 p.m. to investigate reports of shootings. A short time later, officers were dispatched to a local hospital where they discovered a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Initial investigations indicate the victim was shot in the 4800 block of Liberty Heights Avenue before being taken to the hospital. Northwest District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation and are working to identify suspects and gather information.
