Humberside PC told ex he would crash his car and ‘leave her in it’

A misconduct hearing at Goole Police heard about the officer’s pattern of “controlling or oppressive” aggressive behavior towards two women who were serving as officers at the time.

Lawyer Olivia Checa-Dover, representing the police, said PC Madden became jealous of his ex – nicknamed “PC A” – communicating with men and repeatedly showed up at her home uninvited, including once in a marked police vehicle in June 2020.

Checa-Dover told the panel that he had been verbally aggressive towards him, “scolding her for interacting with a colleague” and suggesting that “she should have two colleagues working with her – in other words, having sex with two men at the same time.”
