When tragic news throws Aaron into deeper mental turmoil, in the new episode of the series he tries to find respite in a new, unfortunate friendship. “American Sports History: Aaron Hernandez” broadcast on Tuesday, October 29.

The 10-episode limited series shows the rise and fall of the brand NFL star Aaron Hernandez According to FX and explores disparate aspects of his identity, family, career, suicide and their legacy in sports and American culture.

In Tuesday’s new episode, “When tragic news throws Aaron into deeper mental turmoil, he tries to find respite in a new, unfortunate friendship.”

He was a former New England Patriots tight end convicted of murdering semi-professional football player Odin L. Lloyd in 2015. Lloyd was the boyfriend of Hernandez’s fiancée’s sister.

Days after he was acquitted in his second trial on charges of shooting two men in a car near a Boston nightclub, Hernandez committed suicide in a maximum security prison in Massachusetts in 2017.
