Jared Kushner should have an influence on his family’s plans Donald Trump will be elected to a second term in the White House.

In a rare interview with New York Timessaid the son-in-law of the former president and Ivanka TrumpTrump’s departure from political life will not change even if Trump wins next week.

“We are rooting for him and obviously we are proud of him,” Kushner said. “But you know, either way, our lives will go on.”

Businessman, himself worth hundreds of millions who has significant business ties in the Middle East, reportedly added that the retake of the White House by his father-in-law and former boss would not result in a “material change in what we prioritize.”

Kushner, 43, has been married to Ivanka, 42, since 2009. They have three children together – ages 13, 11 and 8 – and are raising them in Miami, Florida, just south of Mar-a-Lago. They moved there from Washington in 2021, just after Trump left the White House and his job ended with the termination of his presidential advisers.

Kushner and Ivanka cited their children as the reason for leaving the political world in November 2022, when Trump officially announced that he planned to run for re-election.

“While I will always love and support my father, in the future I will do so outside the political arena,” Ivanka said in a statement at the time.

Ivanka kept that promise. She has been completely absent from the campaign trail with Trump this cycle, as she was one of his biggest advocates in 2016 and 2020, when she had the honor of introducing her dad at the RNC.

Instead of fighting for women’s votes in Pennsylvania and other swing states,… Times reports that Ivanka has spent the last two years doing a little bit of everything, everywhere. She recently posed for photos in front of the Eiffel Tower and with Kushner at the Acropolis, and was caught on camera kicking with Kim Kardashian in Malibu while sitting in prime seats at the Miami Open in March and at a New York Mets game last summer.

But perhaps more noteworthy than where she was, is where Ivanka wasn’t spotted. She did not speak on the RNC stage in Milwaukee, appearing only for a brief appearance on the final day. She was also absent throughout her dad’s trial in Manhattan, where he was convicted of 34 crimes.

As the Trump campaign entered its decisive stages, Ivanka proved even more elusive than the oft-absent Melania Trump, who at least showed up at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

This absence is likely to continue in the final days of the campaign. Kushner insisted that he and Ivanka would not show up in the final week of the race to fight for Trump, saying Times Honestly, the chance of this happening was “zero”.
