Single vehicle accident

RENOVO — According to the Renovo Police Department, a 33-year-old North Bend woman was airlifted to UPMC-Williamsport Hospital by Lifeflight around 4 p.m., Oct. 23 after sustaining serious injuries in a single-car crash on Renovo Road.

Police said the driver and sole occupant of a 2021 Ford F150 failed to negotiate a curve in the road, which resulted in the truck hitting a rock wall.

The vehicle was seriously damaged and was towed from the scene by Martin Motor’s.

Police said they were awaiting an investigation into the allegations.

PFA violation

DUNNSTOWN — Brandon Lee Kissell, 45, of Dunnstown, was arrested following an investigation into an alleged violation of a protection from molestation order on Oct. 23, according to the Woodward Township Police Department.

Police said Kissell is accused of contacting the victim by phone or text message.

One vehicle breakdown

LOCK HAVEN — Woodward Township Police reported a single-vehicle crash that occurred Oct. 26 around 7:40 p.m. on Farrandsville Road near Queens Run Road.

Police said Floyd Bowmaster, 61, was driving a 2006 Nissan Murano westbound on Farrandsville Road in the area of ​​Queens Run Road when he maneuvered the vehicle to avoid several deer and ran off the northbound side of the road.

Police said Bowmaster’s vehicle struck a road sign, went through bushes, rocks, stumps and logs before coming to rest about 50 feet in a field.

Bowmaster may have been injured but refused immediate treatment. Police said the vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed by Tressler’s Towing of Lamar.

Trapping dogs

RENOVO – Renovo Police charged Diana Moore of Renovo on October 9, 2024 at approximately 9:30 p.m., with confinement for failure to secure a dog in the 200 block of 7th Street in Renovo.

Police said Moore alleged that Moore failed to keep the dog confined, which resulted in the dog running out of the facility and attacking another dog.

Police said the victim dog had a serious puncture wound to its body and required veterinary care.

Police said Moore was charged based on a summons filed in District Court on 3/25/03.
