Multiple injuries reported following a head-on crash on Route 460

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY Va. — Four people were seriously injured in a crash Tuesday evening on the 8400 block of Route 460 in Prince George’s County.

Initial reports indicated that two vehicles collided head-on around 8 p.m., leaving one of the victims trapped inside.

One of the accident victims was transported by helicopter to the hospital, and the other three were transported.

As a result of the accident, the eastbound and westbound lanes were blocked and traffic was interrupted for many kilometers.

All lanes have since been reported.
