Laredo police update on two-vehicle accident: two people taken to hospital, driver cited

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – Two women were taken to the hospital after: accident on FM 1472 and Hwy 255 on Tuesday evening, Oct. 29, Laredo police said.

The accident occurred around 7:50 p.m. and involved a Ford Fiesta and a Chevrolet Silverado. Both women were driving a Ford Fiesta, and the driver of the Silverado was cited on the spot.

Police closed all northbound lanes on FM 1472 to deal with the crash. The investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided as more details emerge.
