WACO, Texas (KWTX) – A McLennan County Sheriff’s Office deputy was fired after he was arrested for assaulting his wife on Mother’s Day, according to an affidavit.

Allan Holloway, 37, is charged with assault/domestic violence.

The affidavit states that on October 22, officers were dispatched to 100 Crockett in Hewitt in reference to a verbal disturbance on an open 911 line.

The victim’s affidavit states that the victim at the scene stated that Holloway was her husband and that the incident that night was purely verbal.

While officers were speaking with Holloway at the scene, the affidavit says the dispatcher informed authorities that the victim had commented on Holloway’s assault on her on Mother’s Day during a previous 911 call.

The victim’s statement shows that he has photos of bruises on his arm resulting from an unreported incident.

Authorities began an investigation at the scene, followed by the Mother’s Day incident, the statement said.

The victim stated during the Mother’s Day incident that Holloway grabbed her arm, causing pain and bruising, according to the affidavit.

The statement said that during the investigation, authorities received photos of the victim’s bruises taken on May 15, 2024.

Additionally, the statement shows that a third party who was informed about the Mother’s Day incident also confirmed the victim’s story.

Holloway was arrested on Monday, October 28.
