Child hit and injured by vehicle in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) – A child is in the hospital after a vehicle collision Wednesday.

Warren County Sheriff Brett Hightower told us the child was injured after being struck by a vehicle that was reportedly backing up.

According to Hightower, parents met with first responders at Rockfield Elementary School. The collision did not occur at school.

The child was airlifted to a hospital in Nashville.

The extent of the child’s injuries is unknown at this time. No further information was provided.
