3 people charged in shooting that occurred in Prince William County

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting that left one man dead Prince William County.

Police say suspects were arrested on Oct. 30 and 31 in connection with the Oct. 27 murder of a 43-year-old man found at 18500 Triangle St. in Triangle.

Officers responded to the scene after a friend found the victim handcuffed in the backseat of a vehicle parked nearby. Police say the victim was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was identified as 43-year-old Jason Thomas Blake of Woodbridge.

As a result of the investigation, police say that on October 25, the victim met with multiple acquaintances, later identified as suspects, at a home on Cherry Hill Rd. in Dumfries to buy drugs and sell weapons.

During the transaction, an argument broke out, as a result of which the victim was handcuffed and forcibly taken out of the apartment against his will. The victim was eventually taken to a secluded area on Triangle St., where he was shot.

Police were quickly able to identify the suspects: 40-year-old Jerrome Thomas Barnes, 30-year-old Jackson Arthur Crisler and 31-year-old Tryevon Elgha Davis.

Barnes was charged with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a crime, kidnapping and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Crisler was charged with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a crime, kidnapping, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Davis was charged with one count of accessory before the commission of a crime, one count of conspiracy to commit a crime, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a crime and one count of kidnapping.
