Nairobi: DCI arrests prime suspect in killing of 3 women in Eastleigh as investigation intensifies

Nairobi – Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested the main suspect linked to the gruesome murder of Dahabo Daud Said, Amina Abdirashid Dahir and Nusayba Abdi Mohammed.

The brutal killings, which sent shockwaves across the country, are currently under intense investigation.

A Citizen TV report revealed that the suspect is being interrogated at the DCI headquarters as the investigation into the killings gathers pace.

A woman who claims to have been held captive from family he is also in DCI custody for questioning.

According to the lady, her family allegedly collected almost KSh1 million as ransom which was given to A bank in Ethiopia, securing her release while her mother and daughters remained in captivity.

This came after investigators located a vehicle believed to be used by the suspects, found abandoned at Wakulima Market in Kamukunji.

What did the police report about the Eastleigh murders?

According to the National Police Service, the bodies of three victims were discovered in different locations after their mysterious disappearance from their home in Eastleigh.

Dahabo’s body with severed hands was found in Khyumbi, Machakos State; Amina’s body was found at 6th Avenue in Parklands and Nusayba’s body at Bahati in Makadara.

Adding to the horrific details, on October 23, two severed human hands were discovered on Five-Star Road in South C.

Police said all bodies were taken to the city mortuary for autopsies scheduled for today, Friday, October 25.
