A cyclist has died in a two-car crash in Bedford

BEDFORD, Ohio (WOIO) – A bicyclist was killed in a two-car crash Friday morning, Bedford police said.

According to the release, Bedford Police and Fire Department officers were dispatched to 18200 Rockside Road in reference to a two-vehicle collision.

According to the release, emergency services arrived at the scene around 9:12 a.m. and found a woman riding a bicycle stuck under one of the cars.

According to the release, the Bedford Fire Department pronounced the woman dead at the scene and treated the two drivers.

Bedford police said they are working to identify the woman.

As reported in the press, the investigation was handed over to the accident investigation commission.
