Donald Trump accused of groping a woman in 1992 in front of Jeffrey Epstein

This week, Stacey Williams alleged that former President Donald Trump groped her in Trump Tower in early 1993, in front of disgraced hedge fund manager Jeffrey Epstein. The former model made the allegations during a video call with sexual assault survivors supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign.

Williams’ allegation is the latest in a long list of accusations against Trump, including those made by E. Jean Carroll, who became embroiled in a legal dispute with the businessman-turned-president after a jury found him liable in 2023 for assaulting sexually motivated advice columnist in 1996 and later for defaming her.

The allegations against Trump date back decades and include those described in a 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape released weeks before Election Day in 2016, in which the then-reality TV star can be seen bragging about grabbing, forced her to kiss and sexually abused women.

Williams said during a video call that she met and began dating Epstein in 1992. Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial in New York on a series of sex trafficking charges, which sparked widespread conspiracy theories arise.

The former model said the two were walking down Fifth Avenue in “the late winter and early spring” of 1993 when Epstein suggested they “stop and see Trump.”

“So we went into Trump Tower and took the elevator. “And a moment later, Trump was greeting us, pulled me towards him and started groping me,” Williams recalled. “He put his hands on my breasts, waist and ass. And I froze. I froze because I was so deeply confused about what was happening as the hands moved all over me.

Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt called the allegations “unequivocally false” and argued that they were politically motivated.

Williams said Epstein and Trump “sort of smiled at each other and continued talking.” At the time of the alleged incident, Trump was in his 40s and Williams was in his 20s.

Williams said that when the two left, Epstein was “seething with rage” and when they reached the sidewalk, he quickly began “beating her.”

“He kept saying, ‘Why did you let him do this? Why did you let him put his hands on you? And he made me feel disgusting,” she recalled, later adding that “she felt so humiliated, her throat hurt so bad, she was very upset.”

However, “absorbing what happened,” Williams said she felt like there was some “sick bet or game” between Trump and Epstein and that she “was rolled up there like a piece of meat on some dare or twisted.” game.”

Williams added that she received a postcard from Trump “shortly after” this meeting at Trump Tower. Williams said her agent received a postcard from Trump via courier.

Williams’ team provided The Associated Press with photos of the postcard. One side is a photo of Palm Beach and Mar-a-Lago, the former president’s Florida resort, and the other side is allegedly from Trump. “Stacey, your home away from home. I love you, Donald,” we read on the postcard.

The organizer of the Survivors for Harris video call said this week’s meeting is not affiliated with the Harris campaign and is an outside meeting of survivors of sexual violence and organizations supporting sexual violence. Harris’ campaign declined to comment on the allegations Friday. A member of Williams’ team said she had no contact with the Harris campaign.

In an interview with CNN after the video call, Williams called meeting Trump “one of the strangest moments of my life.”

“I think I probably tried to smile and stay engaged like you would in a social situation. But it was an out-of-body experience,” she said. “So I don’t know if I spoke, I don’t know if I answered the questions, I don’t know.”

Although Trump has sought to distance himself from Epstein in recent years, he told New York Magazine in 2002 that he had known “Jeff” for 15 years.

“Great guy,” Trump told the magazine. “He’s having a great time with him. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. There is no doubt about it – Jeffrey enjoys social life.

Trump has faced years of allegations of inappropriate behavior and sexual assault, which he denies. Many of these allegations surfaced after the 2016 release of the “Access Hollywood” tape. Although this moment was dangerous for Trump’s campaign, he won the election in 2016, and the accusations against him did not slow down his political advancement.

Williams told CNN she decided not to report earlier for family reasons.

“You want to be really, really ready, and I wasn’t,” Williams told the station. “I think that fighting violence or these types of events requires an evolution and it doesn’t happen overnight.”
