Israel massacres 12 people waiting in line for aid in northern Gaza

Gaza’s civil defense agency said 12 people were killed in Israeli drone strikes on Friday a group of Palestinians waiting for help in the north of the territory.

Drones struck near the street Shati refugee camp in a western Gaza Citysaid agency spokesman Mahmoud Bassal.

“Civil defense teams rescued 12 martyrs and several injured people after Israeli drone strikes targeted a group of citizens and a vehicle waiting for help,” he said.

The Israeli military had no immediate comment.

Mustafa Abu Aita, a witness to the strike, said the crowd was waiting for help to arrive.

“They hit a small white bus with a rocket and another rocket hit people standing on the road, causing martyrs and injuries,” Aita said. AFP.

“People fled the area and ambulances arrived to transport the martyrs and the injured.”

According to data from the Civil Defense Agency, Israel launched a major operation in northern Gaza on October 6, in which over 770 people were killed.

The Israeli military has faced heavy criticism for its actions in the northern Gaza Strip, where tens of thousands of civilians are trapped.
