Murder and Suicide in East Goshen Chester County

EAST GOSHEN — The Westtown East Goshen Regional Police Department and Chester County detectives are investigating a murder-suicide that occurred Thursday around 10:34 p.m. in East Goshen Township.

Both parties involved in the case – father and son – are dead. There is no threat to the public or other people in the area.

According to a press release issued by the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, no firearm was used in the attack.

Interestingly, the incident occurred on the same day murder-suicide reported at Care facility in East Coventry. In both cases, authorities did not reveal the identities of those involved.

The press releases did not indicate where the East Goshen incident occurred.
