Three minors among five people allegedly involved in shooting at Westport Media Collective

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three minors were among the five people allegedly involved in a shooting in which he was injured Police said the five people worked at the business near Westport.

Upon arrival, police found three shooting victims who had suffered serious injuries; two other victims arrived at local hospitals with gunshot wounds.

Police said the shooting began at Westport Media Collective, a business owned by the city of Kansas City it has since been closed following an investigation, it was found that he was operating without the appropriate license.

Detectives forwarded the case file to the Jackson County Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges.
