Prosecutors say a 19-year-old man has been arrested in a stabbing at a Watertown bus stop

Authorities have arrested a young Boston man in connection with a stabbing in Watertown on Tuesday evening.

Michael McGhee, 19, was arraigned in Waltham District Court on Friday on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (with footwear), assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife), assault with a dangerous weapon weapons (knife) and conspiracy, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.

On October 22, at approximately 5:15 p.m., police received a report of a disturbance at a bus stop in the area of ​​Mt Auburn and Boylston Streets.

Arriving officers spoke with the man, who they said had two lacerations on his back consistent with stab wounds.

The victim reportedly told police he was waiting for a bus when the car he was standing in drove past several times. Three masked men allegedly got out of the car, asked the victim where he was from, and then started punching and kicking him.

During the attack, one of the masked men allegedly stabbed the victim twice in the back. The three masked attackers then returned to the car and drove away.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.

McGhee was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on November 1.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. The prosecutor’s office did not provide any updates on the other two alleged masked attackers.
