That same night, 4 different Laredo residents were arrested for DWI

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – Four people woke up behind bars after allegedly making bad decisions, each arrested in connection with separate DWI incidents.

The first incident occurred on Thursday, October 24 at 10:30 p.m., when officers received a report of a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Jacaman Rd. and loop 20.

The driver of the Ford F-350, identified as 21-year-old Eddie Ehrenzweig, allegedly disregarded a red light and collided with vehicles in the intersection. According to police, Ehrenzweig showed signs of intoxication while talking to officers.

He was arrested and charged with his first DWI of the night.

Another arrest occurred at 11 p.m., after police tried to stop a black Cadillac speeding at 2400 Sanders Ave.

According to police, the driver, 19-year-old Juan Jose Charo, was under the influence of alcohol and had open containers of alcohol in the vehicle.

There was also a one-year-old child and a nine-month-old baby in the car. The driver was arrested and charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol with a child under 15 years of age.

Later, around 4 a.m., a police officer observed a vehicle with its doors open at 700 West Hillside Rd.

At the scene, officers found the driver slumped behind the wheel. After the driver, 23-year-old Andres Vega Sequeda, woke up, officers allegedly noticed signs of intoxication.

Police said Sequeda became verbally aggressive and tried to drive away. They managed to stop him and during a search of the vehicle, they found a gun.

Sequeda was arrested and charged with DWI and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

Finally, moments after the incident, officers responded to a single-vehicle collision at 7100 North Bartlett.

there they found a blue Nissan Armada with visible damage in the middle of the road.

The driver, 38-year-old Felipe Manuel Suarez, was also drunk. After conducting a field sobriety test, officers arrested Suarez and charged him with DWI.
