Fatal accident on El Capitan Way leaves moped driver dead

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – A fatal collision between a vehicle and a moped on El Capitan Way between West Flamingo Road and West Saddle Avenue has left the moped driver dead.

The driver of the vehicle was exiting a private driveway on El Capitan Way when he struck a moped in the road.

The moped driver died on the spot as a result of his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and no injuries were reported.

El Capitan Way between West Flamingo Road and West Saddle Avenue will remain closed for several hours.
