Rogan replied, “It healed pretty well.”

Trump was shot during campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, July 13 by a gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Crooks (20) opened fire on a roof 130 meters from where the former president was speaking, wounding him in the ear.

“It’s not like some wrestlers, some UFC fighters… it was kind of like a best shot. Things have calmed down a bit,” Trump said in response.

“But it makes me a tougher guy.”

Trump has repeatedly characterized the president’s role as a dangerous position, suggesting that experts and officials do not want to talk about the two attempts on his life.

“I do things that don’t necessarily make me popular. I’m just doing what’s right,” Trump said.

“I understand what I’m doing. You become a target, and that is a very dangerous thing. I never thought about it when I did it.

Rogan, 57, suggested that the assassination attempts would not have happened if the media and Democrats such as his rival Vice President Kamala Harris had failed twice presidential candidate Hillary Clinton – he didn’t confuse Trump with Adolf Hitler.

“They love to take things out of context and distort them,” Rogan said.

“The rhetoric is that you are Hitler and to stop Hitler you must do whatever it takes.”

Trump recorded the discussion at the comedian’s studio in Austin, Texas, just hours before it was broadcast on “The Joe Rogan Experience” YouTube channel.

The conversation lasts approximately two hours and 58 minutes.
