Updates, news for week 8

Updates, news for week 8

Another week, another huge injury report for Los Angeles Chargers— this time Jim Harbaugh and Co. is preparing to play the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.

As expected, starting linebacker Joey Bosa has been on the injury report all week. So is rookie winger Ladd McConkey. The same goes for wide receiver DJ Charek and almost every weapon in Justin Herbert’s offense.

Here’s a quick look at final injury report before starting.

WR Quentin Johnston: Doubtful

WR Derius Davis: Doubtful

Joey Bosa: Doubtful

Will Dissly: Doubtful

Hayden Hurst: Doubtful

Ladd McConkey: Doubtful

Denzel Perryman: Doubtful

DJ Chark: Doubtful

QB Derek Carr: Doubtful

G Nick Saldiveri: Out

WR Cedrick Wilson Jr.: He’s out

Barefoot was limited for most of the week after an apparent pullback in the previous week, with Harbaugh discovers that he’s “still working on something.” He is currently in doubt, but he will play, although probably after a few penalties.

The Chargers looked ready to attack Chark returns from injured reserve last week, just for him, apparently struggling with a new injury. His entry into the game is now in doubt.

McConkey suffered a head injury in Week 6, returned, then showed up on the Week 7 report with a hip injury and went on to disappointing results in a loss to the Arizona Cardinals. This week he spent the first two days training he did not participate in the competition at all due to a hip injury. Like Chark, McConkey is questionable.
