“Real Time” host Bill Maher recognized this former President Trump after his “brilliant” McDonald’s campaign stop and criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for snubbing podcast giant Joe Rogan.

During Friday’s webcast of “Overtime,” Maher read an audience question that asked the panel what they thought about Trump appearing on Rogan’s show and whether it was a “mistake” that Harris wasn’t on it.

“Yes, I think it’s a mistake.” Maher replied. “It’s a mistake that she didn’t appear on this show.”

– Did you invite her? Colorado Democratic Governor Jared Polis asked.

“Of course!” Maher responded, adding: “I hate to say it, but we would rebook her.”

Polis added that she hopes Harris will eventually appear on the popular “The Joe Rogan Experience” show during the Texas campaign, stressing that “the more people see Kamala Harris, the more they like her” and that she “needs to get out “. There.”

Trump agreed to a three-hour interview with Joe Rogan, which was posted online Friday evening. After it was initially reported that there were discussions between Harris’ campaign and Rogan’s team about doing an interview, a spokesperson for her campaign said she would not appear on the podcast due to “scheduling.”

The HBO host then read another question to which he asked the panel to respond Trump’s job as a fry cook in McDonald’s, Pennsylvania.

“I think it’s brilliant,” CNN contributor Van Jones responded.

“Yes!” Maher agreed.

“I think if you have someone who is a world-famous superstar, billionaire, etc., etc., and he does something that you don’t expect, that’s brilliant media,” Jones continued. “And I think we have to admit that this guy is pulling down our pants with these so-called publicity stunts. This reaches all channels. And people who are not interested in politics will see it. I think we just need to have more fun ourselves.”

“We had a great time at the Democratic National Convention. If we have fun, if the Democratic Party is fun, people will join. We should do crazy things too,” Jones added.

“One more thing… Don’t immediately say, ‘I hate him’ because of this,” Maher said. “But everyone I know here in Hollywood does it. And above all, you look weak. You look weak. You look like you’re so easy to get. You know you look like you’re overreacting to everything.”

The HBO host then shared his theory that politics comes from “personality.”

“The most important thing is personality. I know people who are politically conservative because I know them. That’s just the way they are. They are square,” Maher told his liberal guests. “And there are people who just like… think Trump is so funny. I don’t understand it, but I don’t understand Taylor Swift!”

“I bet you’d dump me on Taylor Swift too,” Polis joked.

“Oh, New York in a minute!” Maher jokingly agreed.
