Former President Trump will be campaigning for a pair of Republican House candidates on Saturday night as the party tries to retain control of the closely divided chamber.

The planned virtual rally was scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m., and Trump’s robocalls are being touted as a “mega event” for candidates Alison Esposito and Mike LiPetri.

Esposito, a former lieutenant governor candidate, is challenging Democratic Rep. Pat Ryan in the Empire State’s 18th District, centered in northern Orange County.

LiPetri, a former Assembly member, wants to get rid of Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi, who made a triumphant return to Congress on Long Island earlier this year after the resignation of disgraced former Rep. George Santos.

The news came first “Politico” reported. The event takes place just hours before Trump is scheduled to appear on stage at Madison Square Garden rally of the explosive campaign facing the final phase of the 2024 presidential elections.

Both candidates have vastly outspent so far. The chairwoman of the House Conference, Rep. Elise Stefanik, will also take part in the televised rally. New York is home to many of the most closely contested House seats in the country, with most of them located on Long Island and the state’s northern districts.

“We the people have a chance to restore common sense by voting Republican up and down the ballot to create safe and affordable communities for law-abiding citizens. This is our opportunity to motivate every voter who believes that America’s future can be bright again to get out and make their voices heard at the ballot box,” LiPetri told The Post, who said he was confident in the race.

Republicans want to maintain a razor-thin majority in the lower house, which will be crucial to advancing Trump’s agenda if he is elected president.
