Student Movement Against Discrimination, Nagorik Committee leaders meet with Fakhrul

Representatives of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the Jatiya Nagorik Committee met today (October 26) with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

A seven-member delegation of student leaders arrived at the BNP chairman’s office in Gulshan around 5.15 p.m. to discuss the latest situation in the country, said BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.

He said BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed and Joint Secretary General Shaheeduddin Chowdhury Anne accompanied Fakhrul during the meeting.

Shairul said the president of the Student Anti-Discrimination Movement Hasnat Abdullah, spokesperson Umama Fatema and chief organizer Abdul Hannan Masud, as well as Jatiya Nagorik Committee chairperson Nasiruddin Patoari and spokesperson Samantha Sharmin, as well as Akhter Hossain were present.
