Police say one person is dead following a multi-vehicle crash in Colerain Township

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – One person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash in Colerain Township Saturday morning, according to Colerain Township police.

Officers say they were called to Interstate 275 near the I-74 exit around 12:20 a.m. and discovered that three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Police said three people were believed to have been taken to nearby hospitals.

Officers say one person was taken to UC Medical Center but died from their injuries.

Police cannot confirm whether next of kin has been notified.

It is unclear whether drugs, alcohol or excessive speed played a factor in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
