The closure of workers involved in repairs and maintenance on parts of the Blue Line in Calgary on Saturday

The Blue Line will be closed between McKnight-Westwinds and Whitehorn stations from 6 a.m. Saturday.

On Saturday morning, Calgary Transit posted a notice on its X page saying shuttle buses would replace rail service between both stations.

Train services will resume on Sunday at 12:00.

The city is conducting preventive and maintenance work, including repairing signals and gates at the 44th Ave. intersection. NE,

On Sunday, the northbound tracks at Victoria Park/Stampede Station will be closed for maintenance from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

All trains will run on the tracks southbound.

Work carried out at Victoria Park this weekend includes the installation of cladding on the canopy and station structure, the installation of glazing and work on the steel supporting structure of the Oculus glazing.

Work at Victoria Park/Stampede Station will be completed by 10pm on Sunday evening.
