A man was thrown from a truck and died in a car crash in Commerce City Friday night

According to Commerce City police, a man was thrown from his truck and died Friday evening after losing control of the vehicle and hitting a median.

Police said in a social media post that officers responded around 11 p.m. to a crash that occurred on Quebec Street, south of 64th Avenue. Police said the truck was heading north at the time, with only the driver as a passenger.

The victim will be identified by the Adams and Broomfield County Coroner’s Office.
