A pedestrian injured after a vehicle ran a red light and collided with a bus

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Police say one person is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle that ran a red light and hit a bus.

The incident occurred on Friday around 11 p.m. October 26, in the area of ​​26th and St. Paul in Milwaukee.

Authorities say the vehicle was traveling eastbound on St. Paul Ave., ran a red light and collided with a bus traveling north on 26th St.

The vehicle that ran a red light then hit a pedestrian, who suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

The driver was also taken to hospital and is expected to survive.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
