George Galloway says Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar ‘died a martyr’

In an interview with X, formerly known as Twitterlast week, Mr. Galloway said: “It appears that the leader of the politburo of the Islamic resistance movement in Palestine, Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, has been murdered.

“It looked like he died with his shoes on, in his uniform, with a Kalashnikov in his hand and with a keffiy around his neck, and that’s why he died a martyr’s death, the death he wanted.”

Galloway, a former employee of an Iranian state media channel Press TVhe described Israelis as “colonists” and Nasrallah as a martyr.

“From the colonists’ celebrations on the beach in Tel Aviv, it appears that they imagine this as a great victory,” he said.

“It’s very stupid. This is no greater victory than the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan (Nasrallah).

“Anyone who imagined that resistance in Lebanon would weaken because of this attack already knows they are fools.”

He added: “If Hezbollah gave Israel a damn good cover in 2006, well, that’s nothing compared to the damn good cover Israel is currently receiving from the infinitely stronger Islamic resistance in Lebanon than it had in 2006.

“So anyone who imagines that killing leaders kills resistance has no idea about resistance.”
